This is the one for fingernail. The designs are really interesting. Its not something that I would choose over the counter. I'm more of a cute or lace design person.

This is the one for toe. I would say this is rather interesting. I have not painted my toe nails in such extravagant colours/design so it'd be really interesting to see how it will look on my toes!!!

Review on Bloop Nail it! strip

How to nail it with Bloop?

Make sure nails are clean before using the nail strip. Use bloop nail polish remover for effective cleaning.

1. Choose the best strip size for each nail and remove the transparent protective layer.

2. Align nail strip and cut off excess, leaving enough to cover your nails. 

(The reason why I'd cut off the excess is so that I can re-use the extra strips)

3. Place the nail strip on the nail and rub strip over the nail starting from the center, working it out towards the sides. 

(I find it easier to place the nail strip slightly slanted towards one side of the nail and then only cut off the excess. This gives a clean straight cut over the side. Also, use a sponge or similar tools to remove any excess bubbles underneath the strips.)

4. Press the excess nail strip across the edges of the finger nail.

5. Using a nail file, file off the excess strip in a downward motion.

6. Rub striped nails again to move any excess bubbles.

7. For a longer lasting wear, apply a layer of bloop top coat nail polish. (I'm using the quick dry top coat from butter london)

How to remove the nail strip:

1. Remove top coat with nail polish remover.

2. Dip nails in warm water for 5-10 minutes. Peel off nail strips.

3. Remove any excess with bloop nail polish remover.

What I think about it:

I love this nail strip, its so super easy to apply. I did struggle a bit with the sides as my finger-nail bed is smaller than the strips given. Overall I love the simple concept of cut and stick!!!! Maybe this year, I can save up on salon manicure when Chinese New Year comes. LOL.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Revitalizing Brightening Pink Grapefruit Ultra Foam Cleanser 

The Ultra Foam Cleanser cleans deep down into pores with rich fine foam that forms as it dispenses from the product bottle. 

Well I didn't like the scent of the Pink Grapefruit at all, its too citrus-sy for me and reminds me of the bathroom but hey don't let my scent preference affect your judgment on this awesome cleanser . Despite the scent, the cleanser does what its suppose to do - CLEANSE!!! My face feels sooo clean after wash. I have combination skin and it did not dry my skin at all. 

(P/S, the scent doesn't linger on your skin after wash so its not a biggie that you don't like it when you wash)

The photo on the right looks so much more fresh and vibrant than the one on the left!!!

Neutrogena Deep Clean Revitalizing Brightening 

Foaming Scrub

The Foaming scrub cleanser contains gentle exfoliating beads to remove dead skin cells. ( I hope you can see the exfoliating beads on the right. Its those tiny pink dots. LOL)

I find the exfoliating beads very soft. Yes I can feel the beads when I first rub it in but it disappeared after a while. You won't get much scrubbing motion there, think of it as a mild scrub which actually suits people with sensitive skin.

What I think about the products:

Yes for the awesome Deep Clean technology!!! My face is all squeaky clean without the dryness but in my honest opinion, I do think the foaming scrub could have been a wee bit better ie the exfoliating beads not melting as fast as they should or be that soft; I really wanted to scrub my face a bit longer.  However we shall keep in mind that this range is non-comodegenic and is meant for people with sensitive skin, hence we shall deem it a really awesome product.

The only thing I do not like is the Pink Grapefruit scent but I will continue to use the Ultra Foam Cleanser for the sake of having 99% clean face :P

Lash Expander Edge Meister F Mascara

This brush is just sooo wicked. It catches even the tiniest lash and the formulae is soo smooth that I can swipe my lashes 4 or 5 times and it never gets clumpy. Best part? You can remove it with warm water. Say no to eye makeup remover!!!! Just kidding, you still need the eye makeup remover for the rest of the "stuff" that we girls put on our eyes ;)

Step-by-Step Guide: (Please note that I have only used my fingers to pick up the colours)

1. Apply Table Napkin Eye Cream Base on your eyelids

2. Apply Brick Wall all over your eyelids on the base and you'll get a really lovely gold shimmery look

3. Now apply Antique Berry on the sides (don't worry that your eyeshadow is messy because we still have to blend the two colours together)

4. Blend it with a blending brush to soften the look and put on your eyeliner!!!!

5. Mascara!!!! I have only applied it on my right eye so that you can make a comparison on how well this product works for lengthening and volumising your lashes!!!

Yes I know I have thick eyeliner on and you can't see my lashes anymore.

6. Put on your blusher and complete the look with a dab of Tomato Jam Lip Gloss!!!

My thoughts on this:

1. Absolutely affordable and great gift for Christmas. Suits beginners as well!!!!
2. Love the eyeshadows but not the lip gloss. It was a tad bit dry when I put it on. My lips did feel softer after a while but the lip gloss is really not to die for. Maybe change it with to transitional colour for blending the two eyeshadows?
3. The mascara is superb. Easy to use, clump free formulae. Excellent in lengthening.

SCHWARZKOPF FRESHLIGHT Hair Colour in Caramel Brown review

Today's review is on Schwarzkopf Freshlight Hair Colour in Caramal Brown. It is a bubble hair dye like the Liese Hair Dye in Chestnut Brown I bought for my sister.

Inside the Box:

1. 1 bottle Colouring Cream
2. 1 bottle of Developer Emulsion
3. 1 satchet After Colour Treatment
4. 1 Push Pump
5. Professional Colour Gloves

Before we begin- this is my sisters hair colour at the moment:

STEP BY STEP GUIDE:

The Instruction leaflet is super easy to understand but here's a visual step by step guide!!!

1. Tear along the dotted line behind the box. It acts as a stand for the Developer Emulsion Agent.

2. Pour the Colouring Cream into the Developer Emulsion Agent.

look at all those bubbles!!!!

3.  Gently mix it together.

4. Pump and apply!!!!

Likes:
1. FOAMS + PUMPS =  Super easy application. I like the Liese bubble pump more - you just need to squeeze and the product will 'foam' out.
2. No burning sensation like the previous Schwarzkopf Freshlight in Mysterious Beige that I had reviewed.


Dislikes:
1. There was a strong chemical smell during application. Luckily it was momentary.
2. Its a tad bit dry after washing off the hair treatment. I would normally apply hair mask after this stage.

My sisters hair had a bit of discolouration to begin with therefore there's different strips of colours. It doesn't colour unevenly. I've only applied a tiny amount on my roots to cover the hair and it works just fine. The colour is really good. You get a caramelised brown. Not too dark and not too light. Its just nice ^o^

O'SLEE Honey Sugar Mask review

The first time I had came across O'slee Honey Sugar Mask was at the Cite Cosme event earlier this year (Part 1 and Part 2). I had tried scrubbing it on my hand and mind you it was not pleasant at all. The scrub was soo rough that I couldn't even think of a reason why it would be one of the top ten products. I was really skeptical when I was contacted to do a review on the same mask. Well lets play MYTHBUSTER!!! Is this product a yay or a nay.

O'slee Honey Sugar Mask - your 10 mins to Smooth and Brighter skin

I love the packaging, it looks so dainty and cute. They even provide a free cleansing sponge and mask stick!!

Product is sealed.

What they claim: 

This looks promising. Currently I have a super duper blackhead issue and its been bugging me for quite some time. 

Texture:

Super fine granules of sugar!!!!

Application:

2-3 times/week and can be applied on face, lips and body.

There are 2 ways of using this mask, either you apply it on a dry face or a wet face. Personally I prefer applying it on a wet face. I feel that the scrubbing is too harsh for my skin. Don't forget to use your mask stick to scoop out the required amount!!! 

If you are applying it on 

Wet Skin: Apply the mask, gently massage in circular motion then the sugar will melt down. Let the mask stay for 5 - 10 minutes then rinse;

Dry Skin: Apply the mask, gently massage in circular motion for 1 minute then rinse.

What I Like about it:

1. Super fine granules of sugar that melts almost instantly without me having to scrub my face too much.

2. Love the honey scent.

3. The fact that the box includes a spatula and sponge!!!

What I Dislike about it:

1. well there's no reason to dislike the product. It doesn't leave my skin dry, it doesn't give me any red patches or itches on my face, its not a 'harsh' scrub which is just the way I love it, so there's really nothing to dislike about it. I love honey products ^o^

Le Verdict:

I prefer using it on wet face. My skin was super smooth and my lips are super soft, oooo I can just kiss myself if I could ^o^. And guess what's the best part - it removed my blackheads!!!! Well ok I had used a pore strip after cleaning off the masks but the result was awesome. (I am very sorry I didn't have a before and after photo of this. Will try to get one and update it here)

This is really one of the best mask that I ever had and I am going to keep it for my lips and my blackheads!!! Mythbusted - its a YAY for O'slee Honey Sugar Mask!!!! Definitely going to recommend it to my family and friends, maybe get it as their Christmas present!!! ^o^

Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion Foundation Review in Natural Beige W13

I am sure all of you have been following Etude House product launches very closely. Well we all love Etude House products don't we!!! Here's the new Precious Mineral Any Cushion Foundation from Etude House.

As always, their products are just soo cute. It comes in this light peachy pink colour. I just love it when they make their products sooo girly.

The product is sealed to keeps its freshness and it comes with an extra special air puff sponge!!!

There are 2 shades available at the moment - Natural Beige W13 and/or Honey Beige W24. The one that I was provided with is Natural Beige W13.

This amazing product can be refilled!!! Just push at arrow indicated on the packaging and the white container will just pop out. I wonder if they would recycle their white container. It'd be a shame if we just throw the container out after refilling the product. We should really minimise waste.

How to keep your puff clean:

DON'T twist or wring the puff to prevent cracking and ripping off.

Before and After photo:

I know both photos look similar and it will feel like you are playing a game but bear with me on this. My skin condition isn't all that great when you put it up like this. I have blackheads on my nose and some enlarged pores, some acne scars on my chin, discolouration on my face (well uneven skin tone) and those brown spots on my cheeks. I can live without makeup but its just un-professional when I go to work. I don't need heavy foundation for full coverage so this precious mineral Any Cushion Foundation works quite well for me as it only pats on thin covers!!!

If you look at the after photo now, you'll notice that my skin is so much more silky and smooth. It evens out the skin tone and covers my blackheads and minimised my pores!!!

What I like about it:
1. I love the simple application. Pat and apply!!!!
2. Its cooling effect was soooooo nice that I could still feel it after 10 hours.
3. It kept my skin moisturised the whole day. No drying up and cakey feel.
4. I love the way my skin looks sooo silky and smooth. It even covered up most of the dark spots.
5. The foundation lasted the whole day!!!! I didn't even applied any powder.
6. Minimised my pores and blackheads.


What I don't like about it:
1. The recommended using time is estimated to 1 month only. For the price that they are selling, that would incur a lot of costs for most of us .
2. Its not really easy to bring it in a small purse for re-application but since it can last me so long, I don't need to bring it along with me.
