THE FACE SHOP: Friendship Day event at Korea Plaza, Menara Hap Seng on 10/11/2012

Did you know that friendship day is known as Pepero Day in Korean? Why would there be a day named after a chocolate stick? Well Pepero day falls on 11/11every year and the numbers that makes up the date looks very similar to pepero sticks. Koreans would celebrate their friendship by exchanging a box of pepero, some say lovers would exchange pepero just like Valentine's day. It symbolises the person to "be No. 1".  Weird huh but its still a great day nonetheless ^o^

The Face Shop Malaysia had recently organised a Friendship Day event for its members on 10.11.2012 at Korea Plaza, Menara Hap Seng.  Each member who RSVP for the event can bring 1 friend with them but I pleaded with The Face Shop management to bring 2 BFF's!!!!

There was a lot of exciting events prepared for us on that day.

First each of us received a door gift:

There's 1 real nature mask lemon, 2 sachets of Power Perfection BB Cream in Natural Beige, 5 sachets of E'thym O2 Water Recharge Essence, 5 sachets of Natural Sun cream - Super antioxidant Acaiberry and 1 Special Gift Set of Clean Face Mild Toner and Clean Face Mild Lotion.

Then we proceeded to get our complimentary hand massage. I chose Green Tea Body Lotion from the Green Tea set. The smell was lovely with hints of green tea scent. Its not overpowering like Body Chiffon Cream Set: Grape scent (photo below). It reminded me of sugus and its too strong for my liking.

There was a Korean food cooking demo by Madam Shin around 12 noon and I must say her Chap Jae is super awesome, I had the urge to get extras if not for my strong perseverance with food!!!!

Personally i like the galaxy look-a-like nail polish but the yellow manicure with paws are just too cute to pass it on!!!

 I just love their set up. Its pink and its soo glamourous with black bows.  I couldn't take a good photo of the products because of the lighting but i'll show you which product Fahmi from M.A.C. had used to touchup my makeup!!!

Actually its my first time using green ^o^ but I absolutely love the look. Fahmi said the colour is not too strong and I can still keep a sweet look. Thank you so so much. After looking at myself in the mirror, I had a sudden urge to grab both products so I can recreate the look!!!! But alas, with all the christmas collections out, I can only choose 1 product and I haven't decided on what I will get for Christmas this year.
