The Lilacbox February debut!!!

Morning lovelies,

Valentine's day has just passed and I'm sure most of you have celebrated it in style!!!! Remember the post on my blind date with the beauty box that gives out premium products? Its here!!!! Oh and here's the link if you had missed the post on my {BLIND DATE} .

now to the question of How was the blind date?

Shocking!!!!

At first I really thought they had prepared the box just like the photo above. It looked so plain and simple that my mind was screaming WTF but I was happy that underneath all that the box was superb!!! I love the polka dot lilac ribbon and the box smells absolutely lovely {is there perfume inside?}.

Instead of the usual product description card, the 3 guys from Lilac Box decided to give a sweet and simple letter to their subscribers!!! Psst - the envelope is such a darling and everyone here is loving it.

Words of encouragement from the Lilac box to reuse their sturdy boxes. Enough said, lets move on to the products!!!

In this months Lilac Box there's:

1. Kerastase Resistance Ciment Anti-Usure 75ml

Kerastase Resistance Ciment Anti Usure provides instant detangling and lightweight conditioning that rebuilds and strengthen hair fibres. Its patented Intra-Cylane helps prevent breakage and split ends.

Oh dear, Kerastase again? I've received a shampoo and hair mask from December's Wonderbox and reviewed their hair masque which was really really nice but I'm just not feeling excited over hair products at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I love Kerastase and their products but I have too many hair care products at the moment.

2. Kerastase Resistance Bain Force Architecte Reconstructing Shampoo 80ml

A daily reconstructing shampoo for weakened or very damaged hair. It is said to be THE messiah for all levels of hair erosion. Its patented Intra-Cylane helps prevents breakage and split ends and further reconstructs your hair, intensifying hair strength from roots to end.

Well as they say prevention is better than cure.I might just need it once in a while to keep my hair in tact ^o^
I do get split ends and hair falls when i'm stressed out, dahlah my hair is fine, I'd end up botak before I can say Cheers!!

3. BURBERRY Beauty "Fresh Glow" Luminous Fluid Base

Burberry Beauty "Fresh Glow" is a lightweight, luminous fluid base. It is suited for all skin tones and gives you that fresh shimmer and sheer dewy finish. Its formulae includes wild rose extract which has regenerating properties.

It is recommended to apply it over clean face for immediate, natural radiance

This product reminds me of MURAD's Skin Perfecting Primer Dewy Finish which I had received in my January Wonderbox. Can't wait to try it!!!

4. DECLEOR Paris Essential Cleansing Milk and tonifying lotion

Cleansing milk: A light and silky emulsion with Neroli Essential Oil that promotes hydration, soothes and restores skin radiance.

Tonifying lotion: The best and inseparable partner of the Decleor Cleansing milk. The toner keeps your skin soft and fresh with its lavender and petit grain essential oils.

I love paraben free products, well I don't have a sensitive skin but its good to keep paraben away from my face and body. Might give this a try after I finish my current cleanser.

5. ROBERTO CAVALLI Perfumed Body Lotion 30ml

OMG did you see their advertisement on lilacbox's website? I love Elisa Sednaoui - her figure is really to die for and that dress is just drop dead gorgeous on her. Alas, the ad is for their perfume. I wonder if it smells just like their perfumed body lotion which is a bit strong for my liking. I have serious issues with strong smelling perfumes - I either feel giddy or want to vomit when encountering such scents especially when I'm at the mall. Sorry ladies its not you or your perfume, its just me :P

6. MAX FACTOR Nailfinity

A specially formulated longer lasting nail polish with superior gloss. Its chip resistant, shock resistant and guaranteed for 5 days.

The actual colour is a bit darker than the photo, it looks like glossy brown with hints of purple. Application is smooth but it took 2 coats to cover my whole nail properly (maybe because of the small brush?). Good thing that it dries fast!!!

P/S: Well after 1 day the colour looks a bit darker, the gloss had faded slightly making the colour looks muted and the nail tip is starting to show. I confess I do use my hands a lot throughout the day maybe the colour will stay longer with a top coat? Just saying.

What do you think about the Lilacbox? Is it a beauty box to die for?

Hugs and Kisses,
