Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette: Is it the REAL DEAL???

Hi Beautifuls,

Just a quick sharing with all of you on something that I had stumbled upon today. By mere chance I had spotted this photo on facebook and boy was I getting super excited about it!!!!

Yes its the all new Naked 3 palette from Urban Decay. OMG just look at the casing, its soooo shiny and sparkly.

A further Close up on the palette:

From the left:
1. Strange
2. Dust
3. Burnout
4. Limit
5. Buzz
6. Trick

From the left:
7. Nooner
8. Liar
9. Factory
10.Mugshot
11. Darkside
12. Blackheart

However rumour has it that this might be a fake!!! Honestly I wouldn't really say that the Naked 3 is a fake and here are some facts to support my theory:

1. The receipt that was posted by the blogger - do you really think Sephora would get cheated and sell a fake Naked 3? Don't you think this would jeopardise their name when they are found out?

2. The typesetting on the palette looks just as it should. There's no weird slanting or mis-alignment of the letters as how the other fake Naked Palettes have.

What do you think? Is it just a fake and only created to stir up Naked fans? I'd prefer to think of it as the real deal. From today onwards I am gonna stalk all Sephora branches in Malaysia just to get my hands on the palette and swatch it myself!!!!! Bwahahahahahha *evil laugh*....ehem... so ladies and gents, keep your eyes peel. I will make sure to announce it on my FB page!!!

All Photo's are credits to Naomi from Whee Confetti. Do check out her swatches on the Urban Decay Naked Palette 3 here: http://wheeconfetti.com/2013/11/06/la-naked-3-de-urban-decay-les-swatchs/#more-1349.

Until then, Au Revoir Mon Chérie!!!!

Majolica Majorca The Little Humming Bird Book III - Fantastic Fantasy Makeup Palette and Lash Expander Edge Meister F Mascara

Hello lovelies,

I am so excited to share with you this adorable limited edition Majolica Majorca The Little Humming Bird Book III - Fantastic Fantasy Makeup Palette (created to celebrate Majolica Majorca's 10th year anniversary) and their bestseller the Lash Expander Edge Meister F Mascara.

I love their packaging, its so cute!!!

***************************************************************

The Little Humming Bird Book III: Fantastic Fantasy Makeup Palette
The book is just so adorable. Its small in size and makes it so much easier to bring it in your bag.

On the right side, there are pages of short music scores with a lot of Alice in Wonderland themed  The palette comes with 2 eyeshadows, 1 eye cream base and 1 lip gloss. Its name is written on a clear plastic separator.
Antique Berry Eyeshadow
Brick Wall Eyeshadow
Table Napkin Eye Cream Base
Tomato Jam Lip Gloss

Here's a closeup of the palette

There's micro glitters everywhere!!!! even in the lip gloss. Gosh I'm gonna be so shiny and pika pika after I'm done with my makeup.

Individual swatch:

Well the swatches are kind of useless. The eyeshadows are not so pigmented unless combined with the Table Napkin Eye Cream Base.

***************************************************************

Lash Expander Edge Meister F Mascara

This brush is just sooo wicked. It catches even the tiniest lash and the formulae is soo smooth that I can swipe my lashes 4 or 5 times and it never gets clumpy. Best part? You can remove it with warm water. Say no to eye makeup remover!!!! Just kidding, you still need the eye makeup remover for the rest of the "stuff" that we girls put on our eyes ;)

***************************************************************

Step-by-Step Guide: (Please note that I have only used my fingers to pick up the colours)

1. Apply Table Napkin Eye Cream Base on your eyelids

2. Apply Brick Wall all over your eyelids on the base and you'll get a really lovely gold shimmery look

3. Now apply Antique Berry on the sides (don't worry that your eyeshadow is messy because we still have to blend the two colours together)

4. Blend it with a blending brush to soften the look and put on your eyeliner!!!!

5. Mascara!!!! I have only applied it on my right eye so that you can make a comparison on how well this product works for lengthening and volumising your lashes!!!

Yes I know I have thick eyeliner on and you can't see my lashes anymore.

6. Put on your blusher and complete the look with a dab of Tomato Jam Lip Gloss!!!

***************************************************************

Here's my completed look of the day with Majolica Majorca Limited Edition Autumn 2013 series: The Little Humming Bird III "Fantastic Fantasy" and Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Edge Meister F!!!

Ta-daaaa great for quirky

My thoughts on this:

1. Absolutely affordable and great gift for Christmas. Suits beginners as well!!!!
2. Love the eyeshadows but not the lip gloss. It was a tad bit dry when I put it on. My lips did feel softer after a while but the lip gloss is really not to die for. Maybe change it with to transitional colour for blending the two eyeshadows?
3. The mascara is superb. Easy to use, clump free formulae. Excellent in lengthening.

***************************************************************

Guess what today must be your lucky day!!! (Yeah I know it sounds cheesy but it really is your lucky day!!!) Now you can grab this limited edition set (palette and mascara) for only RM 59.90 on Wonderbox's website or better yet - just redeem it with your Wonderpoints.  Look for the gift set in WonderShop and you are just one click away from owning this cute little palette

Look for this photo and click on either Redeem or Purchase Now!!!

Love,

Halloween Makeup Look inspired by Promise Phan's Creepy Stitched Doll video

Hello lovelies,

Its end of October and there are sooo many fun parties to attend. Why? because its HALLOWEEN!!! Well actually I don't celebrate Halloween nor do I party around (seriously busy at the moment) but I was sooo inspired after watching Promise Phan's new video: Creepy Stitched Doll (Halloween) that I had spontaneously requested Jerine from milliondollarbeauty to do a similar inspired makeup look and guess what happened!!!

We call it Mama Ghost and rebellious daughter ghost!!!! I absolutely love this photo. I do find Jerine's makeup is soo much scarier than mine. I've had comments that I just look like some emo kid going to a rock concert. Ah well, can't please everyone now can we.

Lets have a close up of my face:

Ok that was scary LOL. The makeup is actually super easy to do. ok I admit I had overdone my eyes as compared to Promise Phan's but it just makes it sooo special to me :P

The products that was used:

For my look:

Eyes:
NYX Nude on Nude makeup palette
SEPHORA Blockbuster palette
HEAVY ROTATION Perfect Liquid Eyeliner
MAYBELLINE NEW YORK the Rocket Volum' Express
CYBER COLORS Eye Definer Pencil in Deep Black 01
brandless fake eyelashes
DUO lash glue

Face:
REVLON New Complexion Loose Face Powder in Translucent #02
ESSENCE Mouse makeup in 04 matt ivory

Brush:
ELF brush set

The how to:

1. Create a pale skin with your normal makeup or better yet go 1 shade lighter
2. Darken your eyebrows and go THICK THICK THICK!!!!
3. You can start with a normal smokey eye look and blend the eyeshadow outwards. (Keep your face pale and grey)
4. Stick fake lashes on the top and bottom (the more extravagant and crazy your lashes are the better the effect)
5. Contour the lower cheek with greyish brown. Remember to always always keep your face pale and grey.
6. Draw lines in XXX over your lips with your eyeliner.
7. Use a pointy brush and dip light brown shade over the tip of your X's, keep it light.
8. Dip some reds in the middle to create a pricked effect.

Well think that's all for my look. Don't forget to check out Jerine's blog for how she does her look too, you'll be blown away, I guarantee it.

Urban Decay Naked 3 swatch and review

Morning darlings,

Do you remember my previous post on the upcoming Urban Decay Naked 3 palette? I am really glad that I had actually stumbled into it. With all the big commotion on UD's Nakeds, I'm sure some of you, like me, are rather obsessed with Urban Decay products, especially their Naked palettes.  Mind you, ever since the 'leak', there are days where I had actually google and re-google the swatches, just to oogle on it; lets say I was practically staring at it mindlessly.

Whilst I was still contemplating what to get for myself this December (every year I'd get something special for myself in December; a gift to myself to remind me of the wonderful times I've had), Sephora had announced that the Naked 3 palette is available in MALAYSIA!!! oh dear, I thought I read it wrongly and had to ask my friends if it were true. I just had to get my hands on them, no matter what the price is. True enough, it cost me RM188 and i'm having roti everyday just because I had overspent :(

BUT I am currently a very happy roti muncher. Let's look at the palette!!!
