Review on Kerastase Initialiste Advanced Scalp and Hair Treatment - The golden elixir

Have you heard of the new product from Kerastase - the Kerastase Initialiste Advanced Scalp and Hair Concentrate? Well this new revolutionary plant based technology formulation claims to give you thicker, fuller and softer, shinier appearance to your hair. OMG did I just say that you can have THICKER, FULLER, SOFTER AND SHINIER HAIR!!!

Pardon my excitement, I have had hair issues for the past few years- from hair thinning (that resulted in me having really fine hair), hair falls to the more common problems like split ends, you name it, I've got it. Seriously I'm not exaggerating here. The bottles of serums and treatment products that I have is more than my skincare products put together. I yearn of the times when I had such thick hair that my mom had to specifically tell the hair stylist - as short as possible and as thin as possible. All because everyone say I look like a lion!!!! My hair is so thick that it looks like a mane!!!

Yeap, that would be me in my younger days ( primary school) LOL!!!

Three simple rules in achieving thicker and fuller hair with Kerastase Initialiste Advanced Scalp and Hair Treatment:
1. Before application make sure that you apply directly to clean scalp i.e. after wash and towel dry hair.
2. Separate your hair to 4 sections and apply 2 pipettes (or 4 pipettes for normal hair) to your hair.
3. Massage your scalp with your finger tips. 

Well personally, I'd just recommend you to have a look at their application video on youtube, it would be much easier to understand :P

Le Verdict:
After 1 month plus of using this hair product, I think its fair to say that it's only fair to say that it is FREAKING AWESOME!!! I saw results within the first few days that I used it. From today onwards I will call it the golden elixir of life. I've got stronger hair that is resistant to breakage and super soft and luxurious hair that is the envy of my girlfriends.

By the way, the product is priced at RM 180 and for the result that you will be getting, I'd say its worth the money. I'm going to get my second bottle soon!!! I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Review: Kerastase Reflection Masque Chroma Riche

I had this vision of creating a curly short bob that would go perfectly with my Chinese New Year dress but alas my hair ended up being too dry after curling so I had to ditch that idea.

In order to save my hair from further disaster I needed a quick pick me up and what's better than the Kerastase Masque Chroma Riche which I had received in my December Wonderbox!!!! Full size product is retailed at RM 136 (200ml).

Reflection Kerastase Masque Chroma Riche 30ml

What it claims:
1. A nourishing mask that protects and boosts radiance for dry, highlighted or colour treated hair, leaving it soft and supple.
2. Maximises longevity and radiance of hair colour
3. Protects against anti-oxidants aggressors (contains UV Filter and Vitamin E Derivative)


The Masque:

It has a very thick formulae and feels a bit oily on the hand. Just apply a dab (walnut size for me) on clean and towel dry hair from the roots onwards. Wait for approximately 10 minutes and rinse off product.


Le Verdict:
I absolutely love it!!!!! Nope this is not an exaggeration. My hair feels sooo soft and smooth that I really wanted to hug it all day long ^o^ I've also noticed that my hair colour looks a bit more radiant after rinse.
